WHO CARES?  JIM McGRATH CARES.

"My hope for the future and our future generations is that we achieve true co-management."

“Tk’emlύps te Secwépemc has managed the forested lands from time immemorial.”

Meet Jim McGrath

As the Natural Resources Manager for Tk’emlύps te Secwépemc, we’re involved with a holistic view of the natural resources sector.

Jim is the Natural Resources Manager for Tk’emlύps te Secwépemc (Kamloops Indian Band) and a First Nations member of the Canim Lake Band.  He grew up with an awareness of BC’s natural resources as his father was active in the forest industry and worked as a hunting guide for Eureka Peak Lodge & Outfitters Ltd.  Jim obtained his Bachelor of Science in Forest Management at the University of Alberta, and currently holds the designation of Registered Professional Forester (RPF).  He has worked for Tk’emlύps te Secwépemc for 15 years and in his off time, enjoys hunting, fishing, rod building and fly tying.
