Elora was born and raised in rural British Columbia, where she and her brother have lived off the land their entire lives.  At 83 years young, she still gets out to hunt for her winter supply of meat. 

Over the years she has seen the positive impact of hunters coming to harvest in her area – both to the local economy and the overall balance and health of the wildlife populations – and she welcomes them to her valley.
