Covering the northwest quarter of the province, the Skeena region is known for its wide range of huntable big game species. Hunters can pursue black bear, Dall’s sheep in the northwest, Fannin and Stone’s sheep further east and south, and moose. Mountain goats are also found in the high mountains, while caribou populate the northern half of the region.
