The Jurassic Classic is proud to announce that the Guide Outfitters Association of British Columbia has stepped on board this collaborative fundraising project in an effort to further promote collaboration among wildlife groups and raise funds for sheep projects throughout the province of BC. The Jurassic Classic started in 2016 when the BC Wildlife Federation and the Wild Sheep Society of BC worked together to create this fundraiser with the help of the Wild Sheep Foundation.
This annual event (August 18-21, 2017), held in Chilliwack, BC sees 60 anglers from across North America participate in a fully-guided catch-and-release white sturgeon fishing tournament. These fishing trips are sold throughout various WSF chapters and affiliates and several other wildlife conservation fundraising events.
