GOABC’s stewardship work hasn’t only happened in the field—it’s also happened around the table. Over the years, we’ve brought together guide outfitters, government, First Nations, biologists, wildlife managers, and conservation leaders to tackle complex issues with a shared goal: science-based wildlife management and practical recommendations for British Columbia.

GOABC hosted annual workshops focused on big game management challenges and solutions in BC—an early foundation that later expanded into international-level symposium conversations.
Wildlife Stewardship Series
A program created to tackle timely wildlife issues by convening outfitters, provincial & First Nations governments, biologists, and wildlife managers—producing summaries and recommendations.
1st International Wildlife Management Symposium
Managing Wildlife in the Next Century — created to explore techniques and strategies across jurisdictions and “mastermind for the future.”
2nd International Wildlife Management Symposium
Stewardship in Action — gathered experts with different views on conservation and the role of hunters, highlighting shared values and constructive debate.
